Thanks for visiting my website. I’m Executive director of the Centre for Human Ecology, and programme manager for Interfaith Glasgow.
I’m also a freelance social commentator and broadcaster, including as a regular contributor to BBC Scotland’s Thought for the Day and Sunday Morning, and BBC Radio 4’s Daily Service.
I’m interested in the big picture- how we create meaningful change in a time of global disruption. This means my work and interests range across human ecology, theology, art, climate change, community development and so on.
If you would like me to speak about any of the above or work on these issues, including providing support or consultancy to your organisation or group, or just want to chat, drop me an email at mail@lukedevl.in
Please explore this website to find out more about me and my work.
I live in Penilee, Glasgow, Scotland. This website was last updated in February 2026.
